We are Rylan and Byron Waugh, the brothers behind Laker Lures, a Saskatchewan-based company built on a lifetime of fishing Northern Canadian waters.

Growing up fishing the lakes of Northern Saskatchewan, fishing was never occasional, it was part of how we spent our time, learned, and pushed ourselves. Over the years, that experience built a clear understanding of what works, what fails, and what it takes to consistently land Lake Trout and Northern Pike in demanding conditions.

Laker Lures was founded in 2024 to bring that understanding into the gear we use. From day one, the focus has been simple: build lures that perform in real conditions, hold up over time, and deliver when it matters.

Since launching, the lineup has continued to grow with purpose. The Laker Hunter and Laker Vibe 130 set the foundation, followed by the Laker Vibe 180 and Laker Twister, and now the introduction of the Laker Hunter XL for 2026. Each has been designed with a specific role and refined through time on the water.

Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Laker Lures continues to expand while staying grounded in the same principles it was built on: practical design, proven performance, and a commitment to doing things right.
